The teacher behind The Neutrons writes:
The team had a great time making this movie and showed their dedication by setting off a rocket on the windiest day of the year! The film was made by six students, all aged 12, assisted by a physics teacher — but the film is all their own work.

This film was nominated for the SciCast Awards 2010, and won the category:
Flipside Most Entertaining Film
OK, so the technical quality of this film is pretty bad — but you can’t avoid the sheer determination of the team to pack the demos into their film even if it’s chucking it down with rain. The result is mad, human, funny, and enthusiastic. And if there’s one thing that’s entertaining, it’s watching people clearly enjoying what they’re doing.
Congratulations, Neutrons — a worthy win!
