This is great!

Now, I don’t know about you, but my heart always sinks a little when I see another ‘news’ approach. We’ve lots of them, all over SciCast. However, I don’t mind in the least when the film is clear, clever, and has just a smidge of silliness. This is a very artfully put-together piece, that must have involved heaps of planning and very careful attention to detail. The explanations are clear, the demonstrations inventive, and it doesn’t feel rushed despite using every second of the available time.

Top stuff.

You guys were 'mehzin.

Very informative and easy to understand.

I now understand physics completely Gee thanks Physics Tonight, you sure know how to make a dull topic fun!! )
Rosie, 15 Jul 2010

OMG this is the best thing i have seen EVER... and i hate physics so it must be good!!! you are indeed 'well cool people' :)
Becca, 14 Jul 2010

Yes, I have indeed now understood momentum! Bob and Bill do make an excellent couple!
Alex, 14 Jul 2010

This video explains the concept of momentum with great clarity. With the effective use of a real life example (the ice-skating)I now have a full understanding of momentum. Well done!

hahaha
could definately be a little extra to north west tonight!
ice skating makes physics sound fun....
awesome guys :)

amazing. simples.
Areej, 14 Jul 2010

A very informative video, well presented with an easily identifiable example, and clearly demonstrating momentum to the masses. Definitely winner (& geeks).
Adam Auckburally, 14 Jul 2010

That was just amazing.
Kate, 14 Jul 2010

Great stuff, that was very clearly explained and inspired to bring the ideal world of the physicist to life in an ice rink.
Andrew Ford, 12 Jul 2010

I fancy Bob. a lot.
Ellen, 08 Jul 2010

I luurrrrvvvvv physics
Megan, 08 Jul 2010

What a super duper video! The camera angles are superb. Great job. The jingle was really catchy!
Jenny Lau, 08 Jul 2010

This is really really really interesting, I never understood momentum before watching this amazing video. THANKS GUYS!!
