An exploration to the wonderful world that is Cern. Fifteen amazingly inquisitive scientists set out to explore the nature of the Universe and how it all began.
This sort of thing’s never easy to film — there’s either nothing happening that’s interesting, or everything is, and you don’t know which is which until afterwards.
The trick, usually, is to ask people how they feel when they see something new. Are they awestruck? Baffled? Nonplussed? Surprised? You only need a few reactions, and some shots of what they’re reacting to, and you can spin a story that helps your viewer understand what you felt on your journey.
That’s the theory, at least. Mucking about like this can work too… but do we know they really went to CERN? I’m pretty certain they did, but from this film, how could you be sure?
