Team It’s Space Time write:

It’s a whirlwind tour of spacesuits, as much information about spacesuits as we could cram into 2 mins 30 sec!

…which you’d doubtless have worked out quickly enough. Less obvious is that the film is the work of just two 17 year-olds.

SciCast 2010 Awards - Category Winner

This film was nominated for the SciCast Awards 2010, and won the category:
EngineeringUK Best Engineering Film.

This takes a little while to get going, but once the team start making their own spacesuit it really picks up. Cracking stuff, and I’m particularly fond of the use of a tent, and the inventive use of the clothes cupboard, let alone the home-made spacesuit the film ends up with.

I’m also rather fond of “…and you may recognise me from science videos like ‘Pressure and the Gas Laws” — it’s about time we had SciCast films referring to each other. If you missed it, here’s the film in question. Baguette!

Top notch entertainment and informative too, loving minimal use of equations, but maximum use of geeks!
