The classic bicarbonate of soda and vinegar reaction, here with some washing-up liquid and food colouring added to make a thoroughly messy froth.

We seem to have a lot of bicarb volcanoes this year. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

This one’s nice and clear, though it’s a shame the camera zooms in and out at almost exactly the wrong moment. I’d also suggest that reading the captions isn’t the best use of time — the voice-over is quite good, and I’d happily have listened to it while watching close-ups of the frothy mess doing its thing.

Good effort, though.
