A film demonstrating the basic concepts of polarised light, and describing how ants use the phenomenon to navigate. Includes some very ‘cool’ model polarising sunglasses, a demonstration of crossed polarisers, and a visit to the Natural History Museum.
This is terrific. It shows how much you can pack into two and a half minutes, without your film feeling rushed.
Excellent pace, good photography, clear thinking in planning the film, great choice of subject matter… this is a superb film.

It's a good film and it was really useful, but I think that the (slightly) unproffessional way that it was put together made it worse than the really useful information. But it was really good over all.

Clear, concise and well presented. Good variety of locations and presenters. Background music improved the overall effect.
