The makers have only this to say about their film:
"This is an experiment that Bill carried out when he became fascinated by the wind."
…which doesn't give you much to go on.
It's a film about electricity supply, specifically wind power. Made with Lego. With Spanish reggae music. And narration in verse.
Umm… they may have a point. Best just to watch it, and judge for yourself.
We haven't had many submission that feature verse, so far. On a rough count, I tally: none. It's rather refreshing to hear rhymes. Also, Lego is always good for the soul, particularly when it's being moved around with bits of fishing line – terrific special effects there, I thought.
It's only a shame that the film could be better technically. The blurriness was probably unavoidable, as some cameras simply can't focus very close. I think the film-makers did the right thing here, in that they've framed their shots nicely and just accepted that it's all going to look like somebody smeared vaseline on the lens. They could have stood back a bit, but then the shots would be less pleasing: they've picked the right compromise, I reckon.
Unfortunately the sound is pretty ropey. Microphones are (usually) designed to work at normal speaking volumes. If you start shouting they produce distorted sound, as here, which is rather hard to listen to. If you have to shout to get the levels right, there's probably a 'gain' setting somewhere in your software that will sort you out, without you having to raise your voice.
Full marks for the music, though. Well, Spanish reggae might not be to everyone's taste, but picking stuff from the excellent Jamendo.com, that's licensed under Creative Commons, means you get top-quality music without us having to turn down your film. Bravo!

Do I have the right impression that someone is yawning there at exactly 1 minute 15 seconds ??? It made me laugh!
Were they falling asleep while making the film !?!

Creative, informative and funny! The only reason it's not 5/5 is the unexpected appearance of an arm in the shot! The rest is superb.

Considering this was a piece of Science Homework and was done over a week-end, I think it is very good. It engaged the class and got the importance of wind-power across. Well done Phil and Alex!
