Combustion and Stoichiometry

An investigation of some classic and standard chemistry experiments. How much oxygen is needed for the best reaction?

This is a very well-done film — good sound, good clear shots, and some careful exposure of tricky subjects. I’m not quite convinced by some of the slow-down effects: the sound is being chopped rather than slowed down, and by my calculations the microphone must have been 20 metres away for the final experiment, which doesn’t sound right.

But I’m really not complaining, as this is a clear explanation of a tricky concept. It also fits a remarkable amount of material into the required two-and-a-half minutes. We’ve had lots of argument about whether that’s long enough, and as I think this film makes clear — yes, it is!

Good video but I guess when A Level student learns Chemistry...it's better to add the state symbol to ensure student understand the video

Good film, well filmed and produced by one person. This is the first film by this person with limited equipment, so credit where it is due!
