Stanley's Ballon Flute

Speaking as the director of this movie and not as Stanley’s devoted Uncle Jonathan, I can honestly say it was a piece of cake to make this movie. What a star.

Oh, OK, maybe I am speaking as Stanley’s devoted uncle!

This is a good example of how the jump cut makes your life a lot easier. If you use it consistently in a movie the viewer gets totally used to things suddenly being different. Look at the movie again but concentrate on what’s going on in the background.

It’s weird if you think about it, but you’re too busy concentrating on the unfolding making of the flute, and wanting to know what happens next. If you only use one jump cut in your movie though, that’s quite jarring...

Fantastic!
Great pacey piece.

I think this is a great demo... love the way real life is going on in the background. Stanley is extremely cute. I will be making this with my kids at school as part of their topic on sound. Thank you for the idea... it's always good to get new ones

This is a great instrument. My 67 year old father in law became professional within minutes of childlike experimentation with this. Hoping to try it on my nephew too.

You can see that Jonathan is an Uncle and not a parent. make something that is great fun in the short term to wondrous admiration and leave poor parents with something that will soon become intensely iritating. i speak as a professional uncle myself. Noel

OK a lovely demo of the klaxon. Does anybody have experience of making these larger - and smaller. Can you make a pocket version?/ Could you make one to be heard a mile away? Let me know.
